Don't mess with mathematics!!

I'm not complaining or clan contempt, I just can't stand of my math lecturer anymore!! Today, mathematics lecturer class, our lecturer gave us a few revision questions to do. Then come to question number 3...

Find the nth term in following geometric progression.

3, 1, 1/3, ...
Show that the G.P is convergent or divergent.
Find the sum to infinity.
* I wrote the question based on my memory... So it maybe a bit different from the actual.

The first part I don't think need to explain... Because what I want to talk about is part 2.

Before I move on, let me explain how she solved the question. At first, she tell us the that the sequence is convergent. Suddenly, a student asked, why it is convergent. Funny, she stunned and turn to the white board and tried to solve the prove it secretly... She writing all the lim (n approach infinity)... She refer to notes... Then come out with result that the sequence is divergent... Then is my turn to stunned!

Well, based on our previous lecturer, he told that when the sequence is getting smaller and smaller, at the end it will stop at 0 or any other number. Therefore, the sequence is convergent. Divergent is when the sequence getting larger and larger and it will not stop on a specific number but keep on growing.

Ok, back to the question, the sequence is, obviously, decreasing. So, its definitely that this sequence is convergent. I told her the same thing (I even bring our previous lecturer into my answer!). What she reply? Gosh... she said it is explanation and looked like she is not accepted it.

Then I said, if the sequence is divergent, we can't even find the sum to infinity, but we had found it! It proved that the sequence is convergent! Then she answer me that is the matter of the order of question...

Fine! Then we stick to her method. The nth term is =3(1/3)n-1
So, when ...
Limn->∞ 3(1/3)n-1 = 3 . Limn->∞ (1/3)n-1
Which Limn->∞ (1/3)n-1 = 0
Then anything times with 0 equals to 0. In other word, the sequence will stop at 0 somehow. Therefore, the sequence is so not a divergent!

Some may asked, why Limn->∞ (1/3)n-1 = 0
Well, 1/3 and (1/3)2 ,which is smaller? Obviously, is (1/3)2
Then when the n(the power) keep on growing, the number will get more closer to 0 and finally stop at 0. Therefore, Limn->∞ (1/3)n-1 = 0

Actually, I feel so guilty after the class... I mean, I used a very rude tone when I talk(well, it looked more like argue...) with her... I'm so sorry... I just can't control my temper... This is not the first time I get angry and louder my voice to other people... I don't know why my temper can be so... bad... I promise, I will change it... I force myself to...

A Day That Full of Stories in UTAR

Library Fire Drill
First of all, I want to explain, why I went to library during mathematics class?

Well, this is because our new "genius" mathematics lecturer, finished her class TRIPLE earlier than old lecturer. In other word, for Mr. Leong(old lecturer), he won't be able to finished everything in 1 week and maybe he will use next week 1 hour class to cover everything. But the new lecturer, I forgot her name(I din't even want to remember...), who use a cloth to cover her head, use only 2 hours to finished the whole chapter.

Therefore, we finished our mathematics class 1 hour earlier lo...Then our 2 hours break became 3 hours. What to do? So I and a friend went to library to study mathematics by our own, just like everyone else.

While I doing my matrix, I heard a few time the bell rang. At first, I thought it was nothing because it rang about 1 second only. Then after the few times, the bell rang again but its longer and louder this time. The first thing came to my mind is:"Oh my god! Please give me a break... Better don't tell me this is what I'm think it is..."

After the bell rang a few second, the librarian who stand at the staircase run to us and tell us to keep moving... At that time, I'm sure this is a fire drill. By the way, no wonder all the librarians looked so relax and standing at the staircase for so long...

Well, I din't walk to the exit immediately but I slowly keep all my pencil and pen away and stand up slowly, pull the chair in then I walk slowly to the exit... We walked along the staircase and walk and walk and walk. Finally, we reach to the assembly area.

At the assembly area, I met many friends on mine are standing there as well. We all stand there and chat. Suddenly, an officer came and asked a very stupid question. He asked:" Who is missing?" Then I answered:"How am I suppose to know WHO is missing? At least I know that I'm not..." After a few minutes, we all back inside the library.

Nutrition Fun Fair
Around 11.00 a.m., one more hour to our next class. So me and my friend keep away all our thing and moved to Block D cafeteria to have our lunch before we enter the class. While we eating, the Nutrition Fun Fair is going on in Block D. So we decided go and take a look after we finished our meal.There had a food stall, the food looked so nice. But in front of it,is a label written how much the calories is. For me, I had no more mood to eat it after read the label... ><

Next, there had a stall that let you play free. But when you win you will get the price~!! Then what am I waiting for?

The game is drop the small hola circle. You win if you loop 2 of it into the nail pined the color picture. I actually played it for fun. At the end, I WON~!!! ^^ Unbelievable~ What is price is? 4 KopiO candies, 1 Chocolate Wafer and 1 yellow Jelly... Well, free game... Can't expect anything better than this...But too bad I din't take any photo of the game... Anyway, I had took a few more photo of the fair~ Enjoy ^^

Critical Thinking
I never like Critical Thinking this subject. But I love our lecturer, Ms. Pushpa. She is a very good lecturer. Anyway, that day's class, is quite fun. In 1 hour, we doing the past year paper which is not very fun. But the fun is started in next hour.

After the break, Dennis(the favorite student to Ms. Pushpa) and his group present their Issue Analysis(our group presentation). Their topic is "Eyes In The Sky" which I think they direct translate from Cantonese (天眼) which means CCTV. Their presentation is good. Honestly, I wish I could be like they as well. I want to try to present my work in front during lecturer class. This is because this is a good chance to practice my self confidence.

Then next activity is debate. Ms. Pushpa had set 3 questions and she separated us into 6 groups in order to make 2 groups debate on 1 question. My group is agree on Enligsh Proficiency Placement Test for every student in UTAR before enter the campus. Which means we have to take English test before you apply for UTAR.

Ms. Pushpa gave us 10 minutes to think of the points before the debate start. After 10 minutes, she asked which group should start first. Me and my friends shout the loudest said:"First group~!!" Then Ms. Pushpa laughed and said:"The group who shout surely is not their group!" Well, thats truth! So Ms. Pushpa start with group number 2(my group is number 3) which is about polystyrene in cafeteria to serve food is good or bad move.

What a coincidence, Ms. Pushpa chose randomly and the result is 2 boys VS 2 girls, Chinese VS India! The boys are represent that polystyrene to serve food is good while the girls are the opposite.

Because of the time, after the boys present their points, the debate is over... I mean... Hey, come on! The DEBATE means to fight! But the girls din't even speak a word... ><>

Just Be Friends

Recently, keep repeating this songs. This is which a friend, Destroy, introduced to me.

This can count as choir. The original singer is Megurine Luka(the pink color hair in the video), the vocaloid, then Nico Nico Chorus re-sing in their own version. Luka's version is nice, but Nico Nico's version are more powerful and better for me. Before I go on, I would like to explain that Megurine Luka is not human. She is a computer software that can sing a song after you program her nicely~ Or, you can call her a singing robot inside the computer. The other vocaloid I know is Hatsune Miku.Next time I write a blog how I get to know Miku. Its a funny story as well~ ^^

The lyrics is talking about a couple is being apart. I'm now really know why they broke up. But in the lyrics, its looked like the boy still love th girl and he don't want to apart from her but it's too late. It's a beautiful lyrics~ Especially this sentence, "...Its useless to pick up the fallen petals because its not going to bloom again...(...ochita kaben hiroi ageta to shite, mata saki modoru kotowa nai...)"
*I translated it in my own understanding, if there is anything wrong, please do tell me. ^^

What I like about this song? I can't tell. I just fall for it when I heard it for the very first time. Plus, is choir~!! I don't know when I started love everything about choir! Maybe is because of the choir competition which I'm taking part in Form 6. Back to the topic, the piano's version is very nice as well! With piano, the whole melody seem more sad. Besides that, in piano's version, you can heard more clearly the singer's sound, without all the drum and other's sound effect.

In the band, there are 2 guys, if I'm not wrong. I love their voice! Their voice are clear and soft. Their voice are not like basses deep and low or like tenor high pitch. Their voice are like in the middle~ Wonder whether who they looked like... ><>

The Black Day

Remember the last year's 28 July?Some political issues, made everyone wear black at that day.

So this year, same day, someone had organize an event in facebook and encourage everyone to wear black to campus!

There is nothing to do with politic, so I wear black cloth to campus as well. When I went to campus, many people are wearing black also, but not all of them. In my tutorial class, only 5 people are not wearing black! That's quite funny~

After the class, I and 2 of my friends, Yum Yum and Hime walked back to our hostel together. We hardly met each other after we came to Kampar. Although we were walked under big and bright sun, we all feel happier than ever since we came to Kampar. We joke and played along the journey! So what fun!!

When we passed by the garden, we saw the grass is full with yellow little flowers and it was such a beautiful view! So we decided to take a few photo together at there! Here is the photos~

What a Day~!

What a busy week, and what a day...
Last week was a super busy week for me... ><
Test and test and another test... I haven't mention that assignment came in half way also! Such as English radio play and accounting assignment and even economics also! ! word... BUSY!
But I did enjoy the busy day... Well, I rather busy like that than sit at home doing nothing... Right? So glad that I had been so busy~ ^^
Have to said that I had been closer to both my classmates and course mates yet I din't recognize all of them in the class... But, still, I manage to study and chat with them more~ ^^ Mainly is because all of them are nice and fun and easy going~ Nice to meet them!
Today, I was hyper active~! I mean... Hyper!I wave to a boy who happened to be my course mate but we din't even talk at all, not even once! So the boy look at me in surprise and... kinda think I'm out of mind or something... >< It's embarrassing as I think it back now... LOL... That happened in the morning. Afternoon, after the lunch, I walked to the class. At first I din't notice that that boy is in front of me, because I was so tired. After I notice him, I tried ti walk a few steps faster... ok... i walked few steps closer to the boy... >< Then I reached the door first before he did, so I opened the door for him! The boy laugh... Let imagine, a girl, you not even really know her name wave at you and opened a door for you, what is your feeling? For me, I'll think this girl is defiantly are crazy! At the break of the class, I went to the toilet, I meet him again~!! What a coincidence! I asked him:"Did I sacred you today?" Ok, I know it's a stupid question... but I asked. Luckily he said no... If not I also don't know what to do... lol... Did I mention that the boy is cute? Is not like boy-cute, is girl-cute! I mean he look very girlish but he is a boy~
Not only that, in English class... Thanks to the boys sitting in front and suggest my name to the lecturer and end up with I answered the last question... That's nothing yet... In economics class, Gosh..., when lecturer asked about who in the class who's father that owned a company or something. I can't believe that my friend next to me pointed to me as soon as lecturer asked that!! What an embarrassing... I was blushed, I can really feel my face in on fire, as I answered a few questions from lecturer...try to be 低调 here! 低调...
Last, the accounting test... Not much to said... Death~!!
